We added nutmeg, pepper and paprika. First mac and cheese ever. I little bit to heavy for me, and a little bit bland.

First time making homemade Mac and Cheese. I have concord Beef Bourguignon, ( smoked out my kitchen) but I under cook rice and fail to make a simple recipe! This was very tasty and got “ Mom this is just like the good stuff we get at our southern friends house”

I put too much salt by accident. 😞 other then that I did like it. Its pretty heavy so really fills you up. taste even better when you bake it and put panko bread crumbs. next time will put less salt and try regular bread crumbs.

It was creamy and delicious but I prefer without the pinko bread crumbs personally. I have made this a few times using pecorino Romano, sharp or old cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese for great results. Only recipe I use now for Mac and Cheese

Very good! I followed the recipe exactly except for the cheese, I used 3 different kinds of cheddar and mozzarella as that is what I had on hand. I did not bake it as my husband was too hungry to wait for that! It has a different flavor than other mac and cheese but that made it stand out a little. Only thing I may do differently next time is use a little less flour as I think I could taste that.
