This recipe is delicious. The cream is smooth and sweet, and the puff pastry compliments it well. However, I am giving it 4 stars because it is EXTREMELY time consuming. You need to cool the custard for about 2 hours and chill the dough for a half an hour, plus assembling takes time too. if you are short on time, this is not the recipe for you. I also wasn't sure where to store these, because the custard hardened a little when covered in the fridge but I was nervous the cream would melt or go bad when stored at room temperature, because it consists of all refrigerated items (milk, eggs...) But I will definitely try this again sometime. Everyone I served it to gave great reviews:)

The pastry cream was delicious! The glaze was sweet and perfect! I really loved this recipe. It would definitely take some practice to make them look as good as the picture, but I WOULD be willing to make that many delicious napoleons!
