This is wonderful! I increased the cheese to 2 1/2 cups, decreased the black pepper to 1/4 tsp, and added 1/2 tsp of Coleman’s dry mustard. I also baked it in a pie plate to increase the amount of the crispy, crunchy top of the casserole.

I’ve made this several times, and it’s delicious every time! I actually add a little chili powder for an extra kick :)

Great easy recipe for homemade Mac n cheese that doesn’t call for too much cheese. I thought it could be a little creamier so I would try adding some heavy cream as a substitute for some of the milk next time I make this. Overall I would definitely give this another try. Really tasty and super easy!

Everyone loved it. It was the yummiest. Looks like it will be a staple in this house.

My tweak on the recipe was 1 cup cheddar, 1 cup pepper jack, and 1/2 cup (or a little less) mozzarella, topped with a 1/2 cup of cheddar. I didn’t add the red pepper, but might try that next time as hubby likes spicy food, but for me the pepper jack gives it just enough of a flavor kick. I also baked it for about 15 more minutes or so as it didn’t look done enough at just 20 minutes. Hubby and the kids LOVED it! And it was quite tasty if I do say so myself. If anyone tries my recipe, let me know what you think.

Turned out great! I added Parmesan and Romano. Also instead of 2 cups of whole milk, I used a cup of whole milk mixed with a cup of canned milk. Beware the additions make the recipe a little richer and tastier😀

Good basic recipe -use it for a base recipe and then experiment. In the directions it says it serves six In the ingredients it says it serves four. DOUBLE THE RECIPE!! If this is going to be the main course for four people.

This is a wonderful recipe! It’s easy to double or triple and make your own. I added gruyere cheese and some velveeta just to increase the flavor profile and creaminess. I also added a tablespoon of truffle powder because Truffle mac is fantastic! But you can add anything to make it yours and its fantastic. Will make it again.

After reading through the ingredients, a changed them a little I basically stuck to it, but I instead used gluten free flour & noodles, I skipped the red pepper because I don't like spicy. I added chicken and cooked it in garlic, salt, and pepper, and added peas too. It turned out SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! This will be a regular. Thank you for this recipe so I could use it as a backbone.

This turned out wonderfully. I made double the recipe since a normal pack of dry macaroni is a pound. I was out of milk so used water & 1/2 & 1/2 in 1:1 ratio. Also used Monterey Jack cause that's what I had. Fit perfectly in old 10x10 Pyrex dish, coming just to the top. Cooked 10 min longer, wasn't browning enough at 20 min. Creamy, the right amt of salt. Not too cheesy/greasy. Might as well make the lb if you're heating up the oven anyway. Easy for teen to microwave for 2nd dinner.

I found this recipe to be a bit flavorless and spicy, but I probably did something wrong. I will try this recipe again some day.

I loved how spicy and savory it was. It wasn't to spicy but just about spicy enough to hit the spot.
