  • 2 pints mussels
  • 2 pints clams
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or margarine)
  • 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • fresh parsley (to garnish)
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 ounces pasta (Cooked Bucatini, OPTIONAL)

My family loves this recipe. The red pepper flakes with a Sauvignon Blanc and yes I too use avocado oil, makes this a taste sensation. We use just a heap load of mussels, Caesar salad and fresh baguette. Can’t wait until the next time!!!!
