This is a spicy dish with a lot of flavor. Made with finely chopped garlic, onion, and cayenne pepper, this creamy dish will make a beautiful fall dinner. The parsley adds a color to the dish while the clams add texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cayenne pepper (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 250 grams clams
  • salt
  • fresh parsley (chopped)

Directions

  1. Saute the finely chopped garlic, onion, and cayenne pepper over low heat.
  2. Add the flour and paprika and stir for about a minute. Add the tomato and continue cooking. Then add the white wine and cook for 5 more minutes, add salt as needed.
  3. Add the clams and cover the saucepan until they open.
  4. Plate and sprinkle parsley on top.

It’s very spicy, but the flavor is incredible. Make sure to have plenty to drink nearby. I know the recipe calls for 1 tbsps. of flour to get it to thicken, but I actually had to use two to get the job done. If you love claims you simply must try this dish. It’s got a Cajun taste about it and if you have cold or sinus problems it’s sure to burn them out too! It is absolutely delicious.
