    I made these yesterday, but omitted the banana chips, adding 1/2 C shredded coconut instead. Great flavor & very easy to make.

    These were soooo good! I used quick oats instead of rolled and they turned out awesome. The quick oats are more fine than that of rolled oats so the batter looks kind of like cookie dough which made for easy rolling into balls :)

    it's a bit of a carb bomb as well... the name "protein balls" is a bit misleading for people who are trying to keep to a kow carb diet. 57 gr of carbs is not 19% of the DV but rather more like 200% :) other than that, looks great!

    These are amazing. The texture is satisfying when you take that first bite. If you haven’t tried these balls, you’re missing out. Really, really try these when you have the time. Plus they are a good thing to give your kids if they’re good. It’s a good way to keep them in line, you just change the name!! But for real, these are amazing. *TIP*( leave out the banana pieces and use reg. chocolate chips)

    Loved it I used chocolate isolate whey and removed the banana chips. Dimple snd easy to make. Great boost of energy...AMD the best... felt like I was "cheating".

    I doubled the batch, used combo of chia/flax/hemp, 3 scoops chocolate protein, 3/4 cup honey, and 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Left out the banana chips. Made 15 balls at 268 cal. per ball. Going to try a vanilla and almond butter version using vanilla protein powder, almond butter, vanilla extract, and white chips. **Update:** I did the same as the recipe and my mods above but omitted the honey and used 2 mashed bananas and a little over a cup of unsweetened applesauce in place. Then put the balls on parchment lined baking sheet and baked about 25 min. at 350. Turned out great, tastes a lot like banana bread! Delicious.

    Very yummy! I added some brewers yeast since I’m breastfeeding. I added that instead of the protein powder. So good and so easy!

    So delicious nice healthy snack for my kids and I. i teasted coating the balls with unsweeten cocoa powder but desided not to do all of them because of the caffine. tasted great though. I used sesame seeds instead of flax seeds i excluded the protein powder and added a 1/4 tsp or so of vanilla extract and used semi sweet dark chocolate chips.
