  • 1 package fudge cake mix (Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Dark Chocolate)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter (or margarine, melted)
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

    Directions

    1. Bake 12 minutes for chewy cookies (cookies will be puffed) and set around edges or 14 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool cookies 2 minutes on pan. Cool completely on wire rack.
    2. Baking Tip: Use a 1 to 1-1/4-inch scoop to form dough into balls. For best results, bake one baking sheet at a time. If baking two sheets together, rotate pans halfway through baking.
    3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease baking sheets.
    4. Combine cake mix, eggs, butter, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl with wooden spoon until blended. Stir in chips and nuts.
    5. Drop by level tablespoon 2-inches apart on prepared pans.
