You will not believe these chocolatey cookies are completely dairy free. Made with avocado puree and almond milk, these chocolate cookies are sweetened with just a touch of honey and a little brown sugar. Combining the forces of melted chocolate and cocoa powder, these cookies are extra chocolatey. Allow time for the dough to chill in the refrigerator. You can double the recipe and freeze half for an easy treat that is ready whenever you want in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup avocado (puree)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup whole wheat flour
30 grams chocolate (melted)
2/3 cup almond milk

Directions

1Mix the avocado puree, sugar, honey, cocoa and vanilla extract.
2Add flour and mix well.
3Add melted chocolate and almond milk.
4Mix to form a dough.
5Roll dough into a sausage shape and wrap with plastic wrap.
6Refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
7Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces (or more)
8Bake for 8 to 10 minutes maximum.
9Cool on a cookie plate.
