Description
Moist, gooey, and simply irresistible. Sweetened with honey, this chocolate cake is made with cocoa powder and natural yogurt with the added crunch of chopped hazelnuts. No butter necessary in this delicious cake.
Ingredients

- 5 eggs
- 1 natural yogurt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 400 grams sugar
- 150 grams plain flour
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 80 grams hazelnuts (roughly chopped)
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Grease a bundt cake pan with hole with margarine, and sprinkle with flour. Set aside.
- In the food processor, chop the hazelnuts in pieces. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar.
- Add the vegetable oil, yogurt, and honey. Beat until fluffy.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Beat again briefly, until a uniform mixture is obtained.
- Add the hazelnuts, and mix in the dough with a spoon.
- Place the dough in the cake pan, and bake for about 45 minutes or until cooked.
- Check the cooking with a toothpick.
- Remove from oven, let cool, and unmold.

This chocolate hazelnut cake was delicious. I may have gotten myself in trouble seeing as I have eaten about half of it myself over these last few days. What can I say, it’s irresistible. When we made ours, we didn't change anything from the recipe. It’s simple to make and it turned out great. Super moist and gooey. The flavor is fantastic. I have future plans for this cake, I've already written it into my recipe book.
