Description

Light and fluffy, with a nutty flavor and a chocolate surprise inside. Pastries are always a hit, but this one will make you forget the others. No special equipment is needed, just place the chocolate, fold, brush the egg, sugar, and almonds on top and then bake. Great with coffee for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 bar chocolate
  • almonds (sliced)
  • 1 eggs (beaten)
  • sugar

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180 Celsius.
  2. 2Divide the puff pastry into squares and place 1 or 2 ounces of chocolate on each. Fold in half and close.
  3. 3Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with almonds and sugar.
  4. 4Bake until golden brown.
