There is nothing quite like a rich chocolate pudding and once you make this recipe for Chocolate Pudding with Marjoram Flowers you will never want to go back to a package mix or store bought chocolate pudding again. Made with both cocoa powder and dark chocolate, this chocolate pudding has a decadent chocolate flavor and a luxuriously smooth texture. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving and garnish with fresh marjoram flowers for an elegant finish.

Ingredients

  • 500 milliliters whole milk
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 50 grams flour
  • 50 grams cocoa (bittersweet, powdered)
  • 40 grams butter
  • 30 grams dark chocolate
  • marjoram (flowers, optional)

Directions

  1. 1Heat the milk and set it aside.
  2. 2Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, when the butter has melted remove the saucepan from the stove and gradually add the sifted flour, stirring vigorously.
  3. 3Add the sugar, the cocoa, and the warm milk.
  4. 4Return the mixture to the stove, stir continuously while bringing it to a boil.
  5. 5Let the mixture boil for 1 minute, then remove it from the heat and incorporate the chocolate cut into pieces.
  6. 6Pour the mixture into individual dessert bowls and cool completely.
  7. 7Then refrigerate for a few hours and serve garnished with a few marjoram flowers.
