Chocolate Mousse with Plantain and Berry Jam

Description

This recipe is packed with many sweet flavors and only takes 30 minutes to make. Chocolate is the star of the dish while the plantains compliment it with a sweet taste. This is a great dessert to serve at a dinner party, and can even be a side dish.

Ingredients

100 grams chocolate
3 tablespoons milk
75 grams butter
3 egg yolks
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 egg whites
1 plantains
jam (berry)

Directions

1In a saucepan, melt together the chocolate and milk. Once melted, remove from heat and whisk in the butter.
2Separately, beat the egg yolks and sugar together. Add this to the chocolate.
3In another bowl, beat the egg whites into stiff peaks, adding a little salt so it does not fall.
4Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
5Pour the mousse into individual glasses and refrigerate until set. Garnish with plantain and berry jam.
