Description
A shiny mirror-like glaze embellishes this chocolate mousse-filled cake. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Saura Kline.

- nonstick cooking spray
- 8 oz. unsalted butter (8 oz. is 2 sticks)
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (for cake)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (for cake)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream (for mousse)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for mousse)
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 cups chocolate chips (for mousse)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (for whipped cream)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (for glaze)
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup water (plus 2 Tbsp., for glaze)
- 1/2 cup water (for blooming gelatin)
- 8 tsp. gelatin powder
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. flavored extract (optional)
- food coloring (as needed, any color or colors)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spray a 9-inch spring form pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- Microwave the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until fully melted. Transfer the mixture to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
