Trick or treat yo'self to this chocolate-mint creepy crawlies! No one will ever know that they're packed with nutritious ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips ((70%))
  • 1 1/2 cups dates
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 tablespoon white chocolate chips (mini)

Directions

  1. Remove the pits from the dates, as needed.
  2. Add the oats, chocolate chips, almond butter, peppermint extract, and dates to the food processor.
  3. Secure the lid of the food processor, and blend the ingredients on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Unscrew the food processor lid, and remove the blade from the food processor.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll the mixture into discs 1.5 inches wide 4cm, and 3/4 inch thick (2cm), and place them on the parchment paper.
  6. Press two mini-chocolate chips into the front of each chocolate-mint disc for the spider eyes.
  7. Break the pretzel sticks into halves or thirds. Push 8 pretzel legs into each disc. Refrigerate until serving.

Love it I love this site anytime I need a recipe I can come here and get great idea and has help me so much I especially like the videos also so we can show me when I'm not in the mood to read it just helps me put things in little by little and I love it all my recipes on here are great my friends and family love them so thanks for being here
