Description

These Chocolate Cookies with triple the chocolate will satisfy any chocolate craving you may have. Fudgy and rich, these cookies have all the chocolate power of your favorite brownie. Made with cocoa powder and melted chocolate, these cookies are lightly sweetened with brown sugar. Melted chocolate makes the perfect finishing touch swept lightly across each cookie. Be sure to refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes before shaping so that the cookies retain their shape while baking.

Ingredients

  • 125 grams dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 80 grams sugar
  • 80 grams brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • salt
  • 1 eggs
  • 150 grams flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons milk

Directions

  1. 1Melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
  2. 2In a bowl mix the butter, sugars, vanilla extract, and a pinch salt until fluffy. Add the egg and chocolate. Mix it in before adding the flour, cocoa powder, and milk.
  3. 3Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. 5Shape the dough into balls and place on an oven tray lined with parchment.
  6. 6Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. 7Let the cookies cool.
  8. 8Melt chocolate to garnish in the microwave or using a double boiler and pour the chocolate on the cookies and serve.
