Description
These chocolate cookeis are super simple to make and feature melted chocolate chunks and walnuts for a truly decadent dessert. If you are not a fan of walnuts, try them with almonds or pecans instead. If you want to make them extra special, do a mixture of dark and white chocolate chips in the batter for a cookie that will beautiful and delicious. These are best enjoyed while still a little warm from the oven with a cold glass of milk.

- 100 grams butter
- 1/3 cup sugar substitute
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour (whole grain)
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup bittersweet chocolate
- 1/3 cup walnuts (chopped)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
- Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Add the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix to incorporate.
- Stir in the chocolate and the walnuts.
- Form balls 2 centimeters in diameter and place onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until firm. Remove from oven and let cool.

The dough came out so dry I had to add 2 tablespoons of sour cream in order to make it into balls. The recipe doesn't say if the bitter chocolate was to be melted before adding. I ended up adding chocolate chips instead of the bitter chocolate.
