Description

These chocolate cookeis are super simple to make and feature melted chocolate chunks and walnuts for a truly decadent dessert. If you are not a fan of walnuts, try them with almonds or pecans instead. If you want to make them extra special, do a mixture of dark and white chocolate chips in the batter for a cookie that will beautiful and delicious. These are best enjoyed while still a little warm from the oven with a cold glass of milk.

Ingredients

100 grams butter
1/3 cup sugar substitute
1 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour (whole grain)
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup bittersweet chocolate
1/3 cup walnuts (chopped)

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
2Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Add the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix to incorporate.
3Stir in the chocolate and the walnuts.
4Form balls 2 centimeters in diameter and place onto baking sheets.
5Bake for 12-15 minutes, until firm. Remove from oven and let cool.
