Gorgeous and so quick to make

I didn't have dates so I used maple syrup, and added more cocoa powder. The texture was a bit weird, I'll try letting the chia soften in the mixture before processing it next time.

Very nice! not smooth at all, but I have no problem with that! I will try next time the versions suggested in the comments- with some peanut butter and with coconut milk!
Alexander Gomez 2 May 2018
good recipe! I added some dates as topping to hide the chia taste a bit more.
Michal 14 Apr 2018
great as a base! would be even better.if added a pinch of lemon/ orange
Birgit Tohver 14 Apr 2018
Absolutely loved it, put in double the amount of dates and used coconut milk instead and it was great

I love this! It’s not very smooth, but I am fine with that. The flavor is fantastic!

had to add avocado for texture. also had to add more dates and some peanut butter for taste.

Great, I just changed it a bit today. I’ve put honey instead of dates. But next time will be with it.

Pretty good! Texture not very smooth but flavor was good

It turned out really well. Ive consistency turned out perfectly and if you pair this with some berries it’s out of this world.
Maryanne Githogora 30 Nov 2017
fantastic, i would like it again
Stace 22 Nov 2017
Very tasty but even in grinder blender did not do a great job on texture (of dates) even after soaked and chopped finely)
Maria 11 Nov 2017
Topped with some banana

Something was off about the taste and texture. I used a Vitamix to blend all the ingredients, but I didn't find it creamy enough. I used more dates and added a tsp of honey because it wasn't sweet enough. I prefer a similar pudding recipe that uses avocado to achieve its creaminess. I will stick to that recipe.

With a bit more dates, amazing!
Siira 31 Oct 2017
This was so awesome! I used soyamilk and instead of dates some stevia but I liked it very much!
Sarah Watson 31 Oct 2017
Amazing! So delicious! Can’t believe it’s so healthy! Will definitely be making again.
Laurie Carnal 23 Oct 2017
OMG! This was fast and fantastic. Made as specified and served topped with chopped almonds and fresh raspberries I blended in my Bullet Perfection
Leah N. 22 Oct 2017
It turned out really good! The consistency is just like pudding. I will make this again.

i ate one of the two servings the next evening and it was even better than when I just prepared it. My (not supersonic stick) mixer did not get it as creamy and smooth as the picture, but it may become creamier if I first let it set for some hours before mixing. or I might crush the seeds in my mortar. Fortunately it tasted to good to wait for that result. Thank you for the recipe!

It turned out lovely! The dates were a perfect sweetness to this dish. I added coconut milk for my non-dairy milk and perfecto!
adnana o. 24 Sep 2017
Turned out great, made it 3 times already

None of my machines (food processor, stick blender, conventional blender) could get this smooth, so I can't give it to my picky kid, but I will just eat it all myself. I added a tablespoon of peanut butter for an extra dimension of flavor. Yum!
Lauren Christine M. 15 Dec 2016
I love this! I add cocoa nibs and blueberries as garnish just for even more flavor! Easy and absolutely delicious! I have a 1200 watt blender I was using for this but just got a 1500 watt so I'm excited to see if theres a difference in texture, but the 1200 watt did a really good job.
Garrett 8 Nov 2016
The taste is great, but I couldn't get the texture to come out good. It was gritty no matter how long I blended it.
Tessa K. 11 Feb 2016
Fabulous pudding, the raw cacao powder was extra chocolatey. I love that it's a blender chia recipe as it gives a whole different texture of the pudding than keeping the seeds whole
