Sweet meets salty in these choco-peanut cookies. Packed with tons of peanut flavor, these cookies are made with both peanut butter and roasted peanuts. Double the peanuts also calls for double the chocolate with these cookies featuring a blend of milk chocolate and dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 125 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 500 grams white flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 300 grams brown sugar (or white)
  • 250 grams peanut butter
  • 150 grams dark chocolate (drops)
  • 50 grams milk chocolate (drops)
  • 150 grams roasted peanuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Melt the butter for about 5 minutes until well browned.
  3. Whisk the flour and yeast.
  4. In a different bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and peanut butter. Mix in the melted butter and vanilla.
  5. Add flour to the sugar mixture. Mix well.
  6. Add the dark chocolate drops. Mix.
  7. Add the milk chocolate drops. Mix.
  8. Add the roasted peanuts. Mix.
  9. Form small balls of dough.
  10. Flatten dough balls slightly to form cookies.
  11. Place on baking pan.
  12. Cook for 12-15 minutes.

We enjoyed the milk and dark chocolates combined with the peanut butter, but found the whole peanuts a bit too large and overpowering. I tried the recipe with chunky, peanut butter instead and was pleased with the results.
