Choco-Chestnut Financiers

Nutty, chocolaty goodness in every bite! These little gems are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth when you are craving something after dinner. Wheat and chestnut flour, honey, and almonds increase their nutritional value, without sacrificing their flavor.
Ingredients
- 120 grams butter
- 120 grams powdered sugar
- 45 grams almonds (powder)
- 10 grams honey
- 25 grams wheat flour
- 20 grams chestnut flour
- 100 grams egg whites
- 1 bar dark chocolate
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 2Melt the butter in a saucepan to a hazelnut color, sieve, and add honey. Set aside.
- 3In a bowl, sift the flour and the icing sugar.
- 4Mix the flour mixture and almond powder.
- 5Add the egg whites.
- 6Stir in butter and crushed chocolate.
- 7Pour in mini financier soft molds.
- 8Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- 9To serve, accompany with a ball of vanilla ice cream.
