Delish Did not modify

It was so good. I don't think there's a limit to how much pepper to can add. I would have liked more.

amazing! i am definitely making this again.
Christina Bryant-Mikel 4 Apr
we loved it! would make it again
Daniel R. 28 Mar
my family enjoyed it but thought it only needed one green pepper, not two
Melissa Fay 4 Mar
delicious. modifications include ground ginger mixed into the "slurry" instead of fresh... onion in lieu of shallot, cooking sherry instead is the wine they picked, and olive oil. also used sweet peppers which was a nice contrast to the pepper, soy and sherry.

Absolutely delicious. Quick to make too
Hello Vicki! 13 Feb
This turned out great. Both my husband and I really liked it. I will make it again.

Usually I have to modify the recipe but not this one. I like that it used ingredients I usually have at home. Great stir-frying technique! I can use the process with different ingredients.

Such a great sauce! Next time I will marinate the sliced meet a couple of hours. I did this in the stove top and it was easy. Meat is tender and the ginger, garlic and scallions just makes it so tasty. I think this recipe would be good with shrimp too.
Danielle Maier 16 Dec 2017
Great! Pounded steak first before marinading, but, otherwise, followed recipe.

Made this twice already and it’s a big hit. I used the wok inside the house, and definitely cook in batches, and depending on the cut of beef you may not need that much oil in the pan to cook.
Adam Gladstone 13 Sep 2017
Turned out really good, used rib eye steak rather than skirt beef. Melt in your mouth meat!
Kimberly Boyle 11 Sep 2017
Awesome!!! Followed the directions exactly except for the grilling. I stir fried in a pan . Will definitely make this again!
Rebecca W. 16 Aug 2017
Really tasty! I would definitely make again. I substituted the wine because I've never heard of it before but it still turned out really well!
Destiny Seidell 15 Jul 2017
Amazing..! The whole family loved it 👍🏼

This sauce is really good. I cut down on the pepper and added another 1/3 cup of stock because it was too thick. I think next time I will reduce the cornstarch and cut the sugar in half. I will definitely make this again!
David C. 10 May 2017
Great, The whole family really liked it, cut back a little on the pepper added a sprinkle of white pepper, also be sure to use salt free chicken stock.
Jacqueline G. 12 Jan 2017
Pretty tasty and easy to make! Not sure my attempt was better than takeout though. Wasn't quite as addictive.
Amy T. 5 Jan 2017
I made this for by boyfriend who is VERY picky. He absolutely loved it and so did I :) Will definitely make again
Cassandra C. 19 May 2016
My Husband and I loved it! Yes I would make it again maybe once a month. I left out something out of the receipt but it was just an spice.
Jay C. 12 May 2016
Bit peppery but I used Chinese white pepper otherwise really yum! Would make it again with less pepper
Oggie C. 19 Feb 2016
I love the sauce on this recipe. Searing the steak property is what makes this one taste super good.
Jan M. 11 Jan 2016
We love this recipe. It is moist and the vegetables are not soggy or too soft. This is so much better than you can buy at any restaurant. People always go for seconds, so I make sure I double the recipe. Usually, there is no food left over. I make this recipe to go over white rice because that is what we like but you could put this on just about anything. I will never order this in a restaurant again because I can make it and it tastes better.

Well I am familiar around the kitchen, but only just recently picked up a Wok. I love pepper steak, and saw this recipe had 13k downloads... so figured why not... THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU CAN BUY IN ANY, AND I MEAN ANY Chinese restaurant. it is the best tasting stuff, now I doubled the recipe for my family so it took about an hour of prep, and cook work. However it was so worth, so much so that everyone wanted seconds and there was JUST BARELY enough for everyone to have it.
