Husband and I loved this recipe! Definitely takes some effort but the taste was fantastic. We added some orange marmalade rather than the zest and added a can of La Choy Chop Suey vegetables to go along with the meal.

Tastes just like the restaurant. I subbed red pepper flakes for the sriracha & , used fresh-squeezed oranges. I will definitely make again but double for leftovers.

20 minutes prep and cook time is a little bit of a stretch, set aside an hour.. this recipe is very orangey, way too orangey for me. Next time, I will do 1 tbsp orange zest,instead of 2 tbsp; 1/4 cup of orange juice instead of 1/2 cup; and 1/2 cup of Soy Sauce instead.

Good recipe! I like my orange chicken pretty orange-y so I’ll add more orange juice to the sauce and marinate longer. 30mins made the chicken tender but most of the seasoning fries out.. This is a perfect addition to my Asian-inspired nights!

Turned out really well. A little patience is required but the results are worth. The only change was dark brown sugar instead of white sugar - personal preference
