Description
This very simple marinade works equally well with chicken thigh fillets. Having a few staple ingredients such as Fountain Soy Sauce and Hoi Sin Sauce on hand in the pantry can enable you to cook something delicious without rushing to the shops!

- 1/4 cup sauce (Fountain Hoi Sin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (Fountain)
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 4 fillets (pork scotch, approx 200g each)

Directions
- Combine Fountain Hoi Sin Sauce, Fountain Soy Sauce and rice wine vinegar. Place pork steaks in marinade, and set aside, covered at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Pan fry pork steaks with a little vegetable oil over high heat for one minute each side to seal, then lower heat to moderate and cook for a further 4-6 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. Rest the meat for 5 minutes then slice about 1cm thick.
- To make sauce: in a separate pan, put the leftover marinade with 1 tablespoon of water and boil for 2-3 minutes.
