- 4 lb. baby back ribs
- salt
- black pepper
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 Tbsp. Chinese five-spice powder
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- scallions (for serving)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F.
- Position a roasting rack inside a large roasting pan. Pour the chicken broth into the pan. Set aside.
- Season the pork ribs liberally with salt and black pepper on both sides.

My kids loved it. I modified it with char siu sauce to give it sweetness instead of brown sugar
