  • 9 ounces ramen noodles (chicken flavored)
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1 1/2 cups slivered almonds (blanched)
  • 3 heads napa cabbage (shredded)
  • 18 green onions (chopped)
  • 3 cans chicken breast (all white meat)
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups rice wine vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 5/8 cup white sugar

    Directions

    1. Crush noodles; place them in a medium skillet and brown in butter over medium heat. Add almonds and sesame seeds. Stir often to prevent burning. Add seasoning mix from noodles and cool. Toss in a large bowl with cabbage and onions. Add can of drained chicken broken apart with fork, directly to salad, just prior to adding dressing.
    2. Prepare the dressing by whisking together the vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar
    3. Pour over salad, toss and serve.
