it was okay, it still was a little bland for me so I had to add more seasoning.

This was really good. I wanted to hold down the spices so I didn't add the cayenne pepper feeling the chili power was enough. Then based on the other reviews, I added a T+ cilantro (it goes well with lime) and used Penzeys' black and red pepper blend to spice that up. It worked well.

The chicken was really good but the whole family found the pasta kinda bland. Would make again but would jazz up the pasta a little.

This was amazing! Didn't have fresh tomatoes so I used 1/2 can of diced Italian tomatoes (my Husband isn't a tomato lover) also, we didn't have any charcoal so I cooked it in the skillet and it was still great. Thank you for this recipe, it's a keeper!

Really yummy! I don’t normally make such heavy dishes but this hit the spot. Maybe more lime and chili for an extra punch next time but my man and I loved it!!

The pasta was DELICIOUS as well as the chicken. The two didn't go perfectly together, but the recipe was easy and definitely worth it.

Hello Madam 29 Jan
It’s delicious But I made the mentioned amount of sauce for half the amount of pasta.. and I used half the amount of cream cheese.. it turns out yummy 😋

This was amazing. The directions didn’t indicate when to add the flour but I assume that you were supposed to add it after or during the garlic was sautéed and before the broth and milk. I didn’t do this unfortunately, but it still turned out delicious. I added a whole 8 oz of cream cheese though and it was delic. The chicken was moist too. I didn’t grill it outside, it’s winter, so I grilled it on a grilling pan and it was just as amazing.

instead of grilling (it's too cold out) I fried the chicken in a pan. worked just fine!
Michelle Schaub 4 Dec 2017
This is amazing the chicken is perfectly seasoned and came out moist and delicious. I used chicken breasts and pounded them out evenly so they cooked very well on the grill. Definitely will make again, even my 9yr old loved it!

This recipe turned out great. The three boneless chicken breast was the perfect amount. Will definitely make this again!

So yummy! I had to leave the tomatoes out because of a picky eater, but I added spinach. It was a big hit! Edited to note: I made the sauce for the pasta in the same pan after the chicken, and I think that helped flavor the pasta.
Danielle 23 Jul 2017
I loved the marinated chicken, but the family didn't. The pasta and sauce was a hit though. I probably will make it again with plain grilled chicken.

I decided to try this recipe myself since the reviews are pretty mixed. The chicken had a lot of flavor. I let it marinate for about 40 minutes and cooked it on the stovetop. For tomatoes I used the small grape ones. I definitely would recommend not skipping out on the tomatoes and parsley. Those ingredients really brought the dish together and added a freshness to it.

It was pretty good, but it tasted like putting teo separate meals together: one Mexican and one Italian.
