I added a bag of frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, extra carrots and B sprouts (what I had in fridge) and chicken broth. I love basmati. Simple and good.

We liked it but think it needs more flavor. Might try it again with chicken boullion as well or maybe chicken broth instead of water.

Fine, but the carrots came out just a tad raw. Will put them in sooner next time

Way too much oil - I would only use enough to coat bottom of pan to sear chicken.

I totally agree! Using broth instead of water is definitely the way to go. And the recipe has tons of room for alteration and personalization. I use fresh thyme, chopped garlic, sometimes I throw in a yellow bell pepper or chili pepper

Took suggestions and used broth instead of water and added some Italian seasonings. My husband absolutely loves this and I cook it weekly.

Turned out great! I did use chicken broth instead of water. I also cooked thighs in coconut oil instead of olive oil. It was very moist and delicious. Kids took it for lunch in their thermos.

Easy to make but not as flavorful as I had hoped after reading other reviews. I'll probably modify significantly if I make it again.

What a great meal. The basmati rice has a wonderful flavor which made the dish. I added mixed veggies instead of just carrots and it was good.

I made this and the day I finished it (by myself) I made it again so I've eaten this quite a bit lately. It's kind of addicting. Very delicious and easy. I couldn't find boneless thighs either time so I just used breast which was fine. I follow recipe except switch water for a can a chicken broth and at the very end I dump in a small can of peas and it's the best

Yummy and easy. It was also quick and clean was easy. My family loved it. Instead of using water I used chicken broth. It added to the flavor and made this one of our favorite meals. I will definitely be making this often.
