  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 pound ground chicken
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1 1/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • sweet chili sauce (to serve)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet on high heat. Add ground chicken; cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, 5 mins or until browned. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, 1 min. Add vegetables; cook, stirring 5 mins. Cool.
  3. Cut each pastry sheet into 4 squares. Spoon 2 tbsp filling onto 1 side of each pastry square. Brush edge with egg; fold pastry over to enclose filling. Press edges with a fork to seal. Repeat with remaining filling and pastry. Brush pastry tops with egg; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake 18-20 mins or until puffed and golden. Serve with sweet chili sauce.
