Ingredients

2/3 cup mushrooms (cleaned and sliced)
1 tablespoon butter
1 chicken breasts (half, skinless and deboned)
salt
ground black pepper
2 pita bread (medium)
cheddar cheese (grated)

Directions

1In a saucepan, heat the butter on medium heat and saute the mushrooms for about 5 minutes.
2Season the chicken with salt and black pepper. Place in another saucepan, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Let the chicken cool and cut into strips.
3On top of the pita bread, add the mushrooms, chicken, cheese and place in a skillet. Cover and cook until the cheese melts.
4Serve immediately.
