Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1/2-inch strips)
  • 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 ounces linguine (or spaghetti)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or whipping cream)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves (chopped or 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed)

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. Stir Pasta Sauce and water into same skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in uncooked linguine and return to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in cream and basil and heat through.
