These chicken skewers are seasoned in the style of French Caldoche. Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 dash sunflower oil
  • ground black pepper

Directions

  1. 1Cut the chicken into cubes and place in a bowl with garlic, ketchup, soy sauce, and a dash of oil. Mix well so that the chicken is covered with marinade. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. 2Prick the chicken pieces on skewers, and keep the marinade. Cook the skewers on the barbecue preferably (otherwise, use the oven), turning, and basting them regularly.
