  • 1 green bell pepper (medium, diced)

  • 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder (or 1 cube)
  • 1 tablespoon thyme (fresh or dried)

    It turned out wonderfully! I forgot the file but turned out great!

    It was absolutely delicious. It was a little expensive, and the directions were slightly hard to follow, but the gumbo was very, very tasty. Also, gumbo file was impossible to find in my region so I used a corn starch thickener, which worked well. Finally, I like crab, so instead of a half pound legs, I used a whole pound of lump crab meat. It was a big hit with everyone that tried it.

    It was a Basic gumbo recipe. With a couple of added ingredients turned out great
