Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into strips and place them in to a bowl.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients into the bowl to make a marinade.
  3. Marinade the chicken for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat the grill (preferably a Le Creuset grill) making sure to cover the grill with cooking oil.
  5. Once the grill is hot enough, place the chicken strips on top to cook.
  6. Make sure to turn the strips over until both sides are completely grilled. Once the chicken is ready you may serve them with rice, tortillas, or salad.
