Description

Using chicken in place of beef to make burgers is a great way to get some lean protein into your diet. In this recipe, the ground chicken is mixed with dill pickles, garlic, curry powder, cheese, and other spices to create a flavor-packed and bold patty. You can serve these on a bun with some lettuce, onion, and avocado, or try them on top of a vegetable-packed salad for a healthy and filling lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground chicken
  • 1 eggs
  • ham (Iberian, you can substitute pancetta, finely diced)
  • 1 garlic cloves (finely diced)
  • 15 dill pickles (small, best to use cornichon, finely diced)
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 handful parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 handful fresh parsley (diced)
  • milk (splash)

Directions

  1. 1Mix all the ingredients together (one pinch each of the salt and pepper).
  2. 2Refrigerate for one hour.
  3. 3Form hamburger patties by hand and grill.
