  • 2 skinless chicken breasts (boneless and, about 12oz to 16 oz total)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour (for dredging, you'll also need 1 tablespoon of the flour mixture later for the sauce...but we'll get to that later in the instructions.)
  • kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan (grated)
  • 4 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, divided...2 tablespoons for batter, 2 for garnish, optional)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (divided...2 tablespoons for the chicken, and then 2 more for the sauce)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided...2 for the chicken, 2 for the sauce)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more, to taste)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (ie, Pino Grigio)
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 fresh lemons

    Loved it! So good fam said this recipe is a keeper!
    The rating if for the chicken. I had to improvise when I made the sauce. I had used up all the flour for breading the chicken and forgot to keep some aside. I also didn’t have wine. To thicken the sauce, I tried some breadcrumbs and Parmesan but it didn’t do the trick, so I used sour cream. It came out delicious and creamy!

    My husband and I loved this recipe. The chicken was so tender, and I loved the fresh lemon in the sauce. It does have a little prep work, The only thing I did different was I strained the sauce before I added the butter and then served it. Excellent!!

    Loved it! But it took longer. Just plan in extra time and a Corning ware dish for the oven. I also like to slice a couple lemon slices for garnish.
