So I’ve made these cookies a few times, thinking maybe I didn’t read the recipe right and adding to much or to little of an ingredient, but every time I make them they never come out looking like they should. ☹️

A good base for a cookie- the taste left a lot to be desired. I also don't recommend following the idea of a 'walnut sized' ball- I ended up with a pan full of giant flat cookies. About half that size worked for me. Will definitely be adding some more flavors on future attempts, but not a bad recipe overall!

Best homemade sugar cookie recipe I’ve found! Doughs a bit sticky, so it makes rolling the dough into sugar a tab messy. But it was definitely worth it! Yum!!

I used butter instead of margarine. Came out great! Rolled in pumpkin flavored sugar since I intend to decorate as turkeys.

Great tasting but the batter was too runny to roll into balls, so I added two more large spoonfuls of flour to the recipe. I think the brand of margarine you use makes a large difference as some brands have more oil base to them than others. Will try again next time with softened unsalted butter.

Love this recipe! My cookies came out amazing. I used butter instead of margarine. Rolled my dough into balls and flattened them just a bit.....baked for 8 mins and all batches came out perfect. I also added rainbow sprinkles for my kids. Nice, soft and plump!!!! Love! Love! Love!

when I made these sugar cookies the came out close to what the photo looks like. The cookies were sweet but not over powering. My mother tasted one and she said it remined her of the sugar cookies my grandmother use to make.

The cookies were just okay. The dough seemed to be too thin to shape into balls and the cookies became very flat. They were good but not what I was expecting according to the picture

Pretty good. I used butter in place of margarine and rolled in raw sugar. Will add a bit of vanilla next time. Made 24 plump soft sugar cookies.
