Ingredients

  • 500 grams cherries (pitted and halved)
  • 250 grams pears (cored and halved)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 120 grams flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 sugar (generous tbsps.)
  • 1 vanilla sugar (generous tbsp.)
  • 2 shredded coconut (generous tbsps.)
  • 2 oatmeal (generous tbsps.)
  • 80 grams butter (cold)
  • butter (Additional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
  2. Combine the powdered sugar and the cinnamon and add to the cherries and pears.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, coconut, and oatmeal together. Cut in the butter.
  4. Place the fruit into a greased baking pan and top with the oatmeal mixture. Place into the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

The combination of Oatmeal, butter, sugar, and fruit is always a winner! We sometimes put this crumble in deep bowls and drizzle heavy cream over the top. This is a warm and relaxing dessert to meet at the end of a long day!
