Cherry Tomato Puff Pastry

Keeping it simple is indeed often the best way to go, as amply demonstrated by this easy tart: Cut thawed frozen puff pastry into a rectable, drizzle with a flavorful olive oil, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and top with halved cherry tomatoes, then sprinke with oregano (fresh or dried) and bake until the crust is delightfully crisp and golden brown and the fillings are heated through. Serve hot as an appetizer.

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • parmesan cheese
  • oregano
  • oil

  1. Cut the puff pastry into a rectangle, drizzle olive oil and grate the cheese on top.
  2. Halve the tomatoes and place on top.
  3. Add some oregano to taste and bake for about 10-15 min at 360ºF or until the dough is golden.
