This is a great base recipe, but next time I'll try halving the salsa (it was very watery) and doubling the black beans, doubling or tripling the cumin, and adding garlic powder. And more salt, maybe Lowry's. Or just using taco mix instead of the spices.

super easy, delicous, and healthy!
I used a light layer if taco seasoning, garlic powder and red pepper. Easy to make, served it on quinoa and brown rice. Turned out delicious!

Super good! Did not have mushrooms, didn’t need them. Also omitted oregano
Had this with wraps on its own. Next time might add brown rice to make it last longer.
Great flavors I put my serving on a bed of lettuce and made a great taco salad

A very tasty and very easy dish for a novice like me, took other comments on board, used packet of taco seasoning, rotel (carton chopped Italian tomatoes with chillies), kept oregano and added teaspoon garlic granules, gorgeous!! Enjoyed by all the family, vegetarian and non vegetarians alike. Save time by prepping ahead.

Brilliant Loved it. Although we put twice the amount of black beans, since it seemed too less. Tasted good though! Also skipped squash, couldn’t find any, but it worked out.

It was delicious! I used left over chicken and it worked beautifully. I didn't use any veggies except black beans and canned garlic tomatoes. I also used 1/2 packet of Taco Seasoning. My husband loves Mexican food and he loved the Taco Skillet. I also made cornbread to go with it. Very easy to make 😁
I enjoy making the cheesy skillet Bean and veggie taco meal and it so delicious that I could not stop eating it I making this recipe because I enjoyed it thank you and God bless Stephanie Young.🙋‍♀️😀

Made this the other day because I was looking for a vegetarian dish on Friday. It turned out pretty good! I read the comments beforehand and used a can of rotel (tomatoes and chilies) and taco seasoning instead of the other seasonings. I also added garlic powder, oregano, and a little bit of seasoned salt. I served it over brown rice to make it more filling. It was both filling and healthy. It was also SUPER easy to make. I'm a college student just learning how to cook for herself. I have leftovers and I'm happy.

I thought it was great, even my husband who eats meat thought it was tasty. Instead of all the spices I used a pack of taco seasoning and Rotel instead of salsa. It was wonderful
