  • 200 grams Emmenthal
  • 200 grams mozzarella cheese
  • 1 onions
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • olive oil
  • 1 wheat bread (large)
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 1/2 lemon (juice, optional)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix cheeses.
  2. Chop onion and garlic.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Add chopped parsley. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir well and let cool down slightly.
  6. Mix onion mixture with cheese and set aside.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice (optional).
  8. Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).
  9. Cut bread into squares, without reaching the bottom. Place the bread on a large piece of aluminum foil.
  10. Fill bread with the mixture and wrap with the foil.
  11. Bake in foil for 15 minutes.
  12. Open the foil and bake for 5 additional minutes.
  13. Serve immediately.
