    I made this dish for Christmas Eve to accompany a prime rib roast. It was absolutely delicious! I did struggle to get the potato slices to stand up as the recipe describes. They kept slipping down into the baking dish, so I layered them flat, one layer on top of the other and it still turned out perfect! I did add more of both cheeses than the quantities in the recipe, because to me the more cheese the better.
