  • 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces italian sausage (in bulk, out of casings)
  • 1 1/2 cups diced onion
  • 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced, about 1 Tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (thinly sliced )
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (grated, about 8 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • noodles (A spiralizer for making zucchini, I recommend the Paderno World Cuisine Spiral Vegetable Slicer or the Inspiralizer)
