Description

Soft cheese and sliced salami are the fillings for these easy puffs, made with frozen pastry dough that bakes up golden brown, flaky, and delicious. They’re best warm from the oven, when the cheese is still melty inside. They take just 45 minutes to prepare, start to finish, and make tasty meals on the go or salty snacks to enjoy with drinks.

Ingredients

  • 9 ounces soft cheese
  • 1 egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • milk
  • 2 rolls
  • salami

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cheese, egg yolk, Parmesan cheese, and a few teaspoons of milk. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the pastry onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread the cheese mixture onto the pastry, staying within 2 centimeters of the edges.
  4. Cover the cheese mixture with the salami. Top with the remaining pastry sheet. Seal well by folding up the edges to form a ridge.
  5. Brush with a small amount of milk.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the top pastry is golden brown. Serve warm.
