A cross between rellenos and poppers, stuffed jalapeños filled with creamy cheese and crunchy bacon aren’t for the faint of heart or tongue.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg., softened)
  • 1 cup Kraft Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia
  • 4 slices Oscar Mayer Bacon (cooked, crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 18 jalapeño peppers (cut lengthwise in half, seeds and membranes removed)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except peppers; spoon into peppers.
  3. Place, filled sides up, on baking sheet.
  4. Bake 10 min. or until cheese is melted.

Best poppers ever!! I make these for every event, and there is nothing I would change about them. The little bit of kick is just perfect. I leave the bacon out when cooking for a group with vegetarians, and they are still great.
