Ingredients

250 grams flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
55 grams salted butter
150 milliliters milk (or buttermilk)
60 grams cheddar cheese (grated)
pumpkin seeds

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2In a bowl combine the flour and baking powder.
3Add the butter cut in small pieces, incorporate it gradually until crumbly.
4Add the grated cheese and then gradually add the milk. Mix until smooth.
5Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1.5 cm thick.
6Cut out scones with a cookie cutter.
7Brush the cookies with a little bit of milk and top with more grated cheddar cheese and pumpkin seeds.
8Bake for 10-12 minutes.
