Juicy broccoli and cauliflower gratin, made with milk and Hellmann's mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 600 grams cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 4 Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise (dollops*)
  • 250 grams broccoli (cut into florets)
  • 250ml semi skimmed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 grams cheddar (mature, grated)
  • 25 grams Parmesan (finely grated)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 25 grams Flora Buttery
  • 25 grams flour

    Directions

    1. Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, adding the broccoli for the last 3-4 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, place the Flora, flour and milk in a saucepan, and, stirring continuously, bring to the boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened and smooth.
    3. Stir the mayonnaise, mustard and half the cheeses into the sauce, and season with black pepper.
    4. Drain the vegetables and place in an ovenproof dish. Pour over the sauce, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
    5. Place under a hot grill until golden brown and bubbling.
