Caramelized Bananas with Hazelnuts and Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 3 bananas (large, sliced)
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts (toasted, skin removed and coarsely chopped)
  • greek yogurt (to serve)

Directions

  1. Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add sugar and cook for around 5 mins, or until sugar caramelizes. Add cream and stir until caramel dissolves. Add bananas and 1/4 cup hazelnuts. Cook, stirring, for 3 mins, or until combined and heated through.
  2. Transfer mixture to serving bowls. Serve topped with yogurt and remaining hazelnuts.
