  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon basil (ground)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 ham hock

    1. Soak beans in cold water for 12 hours to clean the beans
    2. Combine all spices together into zip lock bag and shake well to blend all together
    3. Once beans are cleaned mix into your slow cooker or pot
