Unlike Thai red and green curry it has more of a liquid consistency. If you prefer asked slightly thicker curry omit one cup of stock. Use 2 teaspoons chicken stock powder with 2 cups water.

  • 600 grams chuck steak (beef cubed)
  • 300 grams potatoes (chat, quartered)
  • 1 brown onion (finely chopped)
  • 210 grams curry paste (massaman Thai)
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 cups chicken stock (liquid)
  • 400 milliliters coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups white rice

    Directions

    1. Place onion and potato in slow cooker. Add curry paste, coconut cream and mix
    2. Add chicken stock, fish sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar mix
    3. Place flour in plastic bag then at steak and shake until meat is coated in flour. Add steak to slow cooker
    4. Cook in the slow cooker on low for eight hours. Serve with rice
