I love this recipe! This is my second time making it and I’m doubling it. I do add coconut milk since I do like it creamy. I find the turmeric heavy, but use it for its healing properties otherwise I would leave it out.

I found myself adding a lot more seasoning, but once I got it right it was very good. I'm curious if clove would work in this recipe. Edit: I garnished with crushed raw unsalted pistachios and it added a subtly sweet nuttiness to soup.

I added 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and cinnamon and it was perfect

👌👌👌👌 I added two small apples, green onion and a little less turmeric, and it turned out amazing. Also, as I don't have a blender, so I've just mixed it woth a fork. :)

The broth was good, but the actual soup had a taste of Turmeric that was overwhelming.

It’s delicious! But I adapted it heavily. Replaced water with vegetable broth (aprox three cups), replaced fresh turmeric and garlic with powdered (1 teaspoon each). Added one sweet potato. And it turned out amazing!!! Super creamy and sweet.

Way too much garlic, poor combination of savory without enough sweetness. Like eating liquified sweet potato casserole without the sweetness. Yes I made it, and it wasn’t a hit.

Not bad! Super easy and quick to make

I added a too large piece of turmeric and it tasted too earthy

Just made this for the first time. It is tasty but, I felt that it needed a few more layers of flavor. Finished with Nutritional Yeast and additional sea salt.

I love it and make it all the time now. I add a cup of coconut milk and a sweet potato and do not purée it so there are chunks which makes me feel full longer. I add salt and pepper.

Very delicious. I didn’t have the raw turmeric so used a half tsp. It was very good. Nice for a wet rainy day.

Wow! So delicious! I added a Gala apple and I had some diced ham. My husband raved about it and was surprised to hear it was butternut squash. He has always maintained that he doesn't like squash....he does now!

This is divine!!! The perfect fall soup. I didn't have enough squash so I added carrots and an apple. I also had some pork sausage and kale on hand to add some more texture and substance. But this could hold its own! We dipped crusty garlic bread and were in heaven.

Had a tough time finding fresh turmeric in my area, so had to order from Amazon. Other than that this recipe is quick, easy to prepare, super healthy, and taste fantastic.
