Description

Now you can enjoy butter cookies year-round. They take very little prep time, you just cream the butter and sugar and then add the eggs, flour, and vanilla. Decorate them however you wish, making them perfect for any time.

Ingredients

300 grams butter
200 grams sugar
500 grams flour
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
2Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one by one, continuing to mix. Add the vanilla.
3Stir in half of the flour, continuing to mix. Turn the dough out onto the countertop, add the rest of the flour, and knead, forming into a ball.
4Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
5Remove from the refrigerator, roll out the dough until approximately 1 centimeter thick, and cut with cookie cutters.
6Bake for 8 minutes, until slightly brown around the edges. Place onto a baking rack to cool.
